I have no idea how I would feel in such a situation.</p> <p>BUT: imagine it <em>HAD</em> been a terrorist wearing a bomb, and the police had <strong>NOT</strong> reacted.</p> <p>There is no way that the police have enough time in this type of situation to gather intelligence (i.e. background info) on the person in question, as the reporter requested.</p> <p>Although this greatly inconveniences innocent people (at the moment Arab looking), I personally still prefer the police react quickly and restrain an innocent person, than react too late (or not at all) and let a terrorist blow up other innocent people.</p> <p>What's your take on this? </p> <p> <small> <a href="http://debatecentral.blog.co.uk/2008/04/09/police-behaviour-4019016/#comments">Comments</a> </small> </p>tag:debatecentral.blog.co.uk,2008-03-18:/2008/03/18/george-bush-and-the-us-war-criminals-or--3899897/freedomisnotfree2008-03-18T14:05:24+01:002008-03-18T14:05:24+01:00 <p>George Bush - claims he asked God whether he should go to war and God said yes. Does that mean he started a Jihad against Iraq and Afghanistan?! He is a War criminal. The UN have said it is an illegal war but who dare argue with America? If he was a saint would he not intervene in Tibet or Burma. Oh Wait, as my friend reminded me, no oil! Iraq? MAJOR OIL!
