Did Jesus really exist? Was He what they say He was? Do You really believe EVERYTHING that is written about him? Was He just another prophet? Or was he just a figment of the imagination?

He probably did exist but think about what it would be like today? Son of God in todays world? Nah probably lock him up. People were a lot more gulluble back then so if you did a card trick they would think that you were similar! Do prophets exist??

There have been people, in the past decade or so, that have claimed to be Jesus, what if they are really the son of God? I also believe that the story of Jesus in the Bible is an exaggeration of his life, and death. A virgin birth? Yeah right on. If the new testament was written today, would it be classed as a work of Fiction????

Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the Lord of glory. He is Who He said He is and He is the saviour of the whole world. Everyone needs Him.

I disagree.........
Hey, are you aware that you are desparate for Jesus? Everyone inclusive of you need Jesus Christ.

I don't think that I am desperate for Jesus, I may be desperate, but not for Jesus. Have a good day now.

I am very much aware that i do NOT need jesus, because if he even did exist then he was very much not the son of "God". Many Christians tell em that if i let jesus into my heart i will live a much happier life. . .highly doubt it considering he is not educated in open heart surgery and even so i still wouldnt let him touch me if he was! I think the world does need the lies of a religion like Christianity or Islam or Judaism or whatever. It is needed but more Atheists are needed just to point out the truths when called to do so. And im pretty sure the Virgin Mary didn't live up to her name. Possibly it was a nickname given to her because she was the opposite, who knows because im pretty sure there are no witnesses still alive today . . .

I believe Jesus did exist. Not as the son of God but as a historical person who was trying to change the world to what he thought would be a better place. It is only the scriptures that have been written about him hundreds of years later that claim he was the son of God etc (in my opinion of course!)
A book called 'The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail' is about discovering facts about the real historical Jesus not as in the Bible but in real life.
Apparently Dan Brown used alot of it to write the Da Vinci code, which was, incidentally, a load of bollocks.

Wasn't there a court case regarding those 2 books? In which I think Dan Brown denied taking anything from the book, but I could be wrong.. I also think that Jesus possibly existed, but was just a good guy, who tried to change things.

Yeah there was a court case that Dan Brown actually won although there are definite similarities between the books

Incidentally, it was proven that there was copyright but the judge ruled in Browns favour. Why? Who knows. I don't think it can be proven whether or not he was real today but to think of the possibility that he was not the son of God and just some crazy man would be disastrous. Over a billion people are practicing Christians who truly believe in Jesus and God. A Global Mental Breakdown could happen if somehow science proved there is no God We must treat carefully if we are to advance in this area and restrict our probing

Some people will always believe, no matter what evidence you put in front of them. The church is too strong, and would try to suppress any evidence that is contrary to their thinking.
