George Bush and the US - War Criminals or World Saints?

by freedomisnotfree @ 2008-03-18 - 14:05:24

George Bush - claims he asked God whether he should go to war and God said yes. Does that mean he started a Jihad against Iraq and Afghanistan?! He is a War criminal. The UN have said it is an illegal war but who dare argue with America? If he was a saint would he not intervene in Tibet or Burma. Oh Wait, as my friend reminded me, no oil! Iraq? MAJOR OIL! All they care about is protecting oil and showing the world that they are in control!

True, the American leadership is just as fundamentalist as the terrorists they claim they are attacking.
Osama Bin Laden says he wants to convert America to Islam, and George Bush says he wants to convert the Middle East into a western style capitalist democracy. I can't see the difference between the two. They are both trying to force countries to change to their own preferred ideal through violence and intimidation.

He says so on democracy , but what about his support for democracy in Pakistan. If he meant it, why then he supported Musharraf ? Why is he supporting Musharraf now ?
The US is not only supporting Musharraf but also helping him suppress Pakistans constitution , judiciary , media and parliament.

Do Americans care !

Americans possibly don't really care. They like to look after No.1 first, and 2nd, and 3rd, and.......

I think that 9/11 changed everything. Bush should never have let personal feelings interfere with the business of running the country. He thought that Sadam Hussain cost his father his re-election, and Sadam had put a bounty on Bush seniors head ( not the coconut chocolate bar, but a wad of money) and this was his chance to sort out family business, however he forgot the golden rule, never let personal feelings get in the way of business. I may be getting the Bush family confused with the Mafia, or are they just the same?

He wanted to prove a point to the Arab world by releasing his power on them. He wants to enforce on every country what white America has done to the US. Capitalism to the extreme. Rich become richer, poor become poorer. rich get looked after by the state, poor get left in New Orleans. When Hurricane Katrina came to New Orleans, I do not recall seeing more than 2 white families in an area where there was close to one thousand waiting to be given medical and food supplies from helicopters. This isn't right. Race divides that country terribly and this is something that Bush doesn't care about. White Upper Class America is his priority and now he wants Iraq and Afghanistan to be like that..

So George Bush asked God if it's ok to kill people, and God said yes.

Hmmmm....

I seem to remember a certain commandment "Thou shalt not kill" which supposedly also came from God.

You think he's changed his mind??

Ok, enough sarcasm. I agree, there's little difference in Bush's argument's and bin Laden's (or other terrorists). Too bad that neither will comprehend this point and their wrong-doings.

I do remember reading somewhere AL that GW Bush did say that he prayed and that God gave him the all clear for the war in Iraq. I could be wrong though ( I know it's crazy, but I could be) and the story that I read could be false. Cheers..
